A mistake I see all the time?

Women are trying to lose weight by cutting carbs because they saw it work for someone else.

For many men, reducing carbs often leads to:

✔️ A quick drop on the scale
✔️ Better calorie control
✔️ Fat loss (when they’re in a deficit)
✔️ Muscle preservation if protein intake is adequate

But when many women take the exact same approach, they often notice:

• Low energy throughout the day
• Stronger cravings
• Poorer workout performance
• Feeling hungrier and less consistent

That’s because women aren’t just “small men.”

Our hormones, training demands, and energy needs are different.

Carbohydrates aren’t just there to give you energy.

They’re also important for:

✔️ Supporting thyroid function
✔️ Healthy hormone balance and ovulation
✔️ Better recovery from training
✔️ Maintaining performance during a calorie deficit

Now here’s the important part...

I’m not saying women need to eat a high-carb diet.

I’m saying they need the right amount of carbs for their body.

Because it’s not just about eating carbs.

It’s about:

✅ Choosing the right sources
✅ Eating the right quantity
✅ Timing them around your lifestyle and workouts
✅ Building balanced meals that actually keep you full

That’s why two women can follow the “same diet” and get completely different results.

One loses fat while feeling strong, satisfied, and consistent. The other feels exhausted, hungry, and eventually gives up. Fat loss doesn’t have to mean cutting out rice, rotis, potatoes, or fruit.

It means learning how to fit them into a plan that works for your body and your goals.
