As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, Auburn alumnus Jimmy Rane '68 is helping lead the celebration.

Appointed as one of just 16 private citizens on the bipartisan America250 Commission, Rane is working alongside leaders from across the country to encourage communities to reflect on our nation's history and look toward its future.

"It's a great responsibility to do all that I can to pass this on to the next generation, to reject the voices of division and embrace the voices of unity."
