🇺🇸☀️🥾 While many celebrate the Fourth of July, we were in the desert before sunrise.

We met at 6:00 a.m. and hiked 6.5 miles through the desert, wrapping up before the temperature climbed toward 100°.

Month after month, we show up.

Not because it's easy.
Not because we're paid.
Not because anyone tells us to.

We show up because no one else is searching.

🚨 Every mile we walk asks the same question:
Where are the agencies responsible for finding the missing and investigating the dead?

More than 300 people have been found dead in this region over the last five years.

Among those identified by gender, 55% are women—roughly three times the percentage typically seen elsewhere along the border.

Women have been found side by side.
Women have been found repeatedly in the same locations.
Yet case after case is attributed to "exposure," and the questions stop there.

That should concern everyone.

🚙 We are all volunteers.

💰 We pay our own expenses.
⛽ We buy our own fuel.
🚗 We use our own vehicles.
🥾 We hike mile after mile through unforgiving terrain.

No government budget.
No government search teams.
Just ordinary people refusing to look away.

This is what accountability looks like.

We will keep searching.
We will keep documenting.
We will keep asking the questions others won't.

Because every person deserves to be found.
Every family deserves answers.
And every death deserves a real investigation.
