Here’s what Theta means to Veronika:
“When I think about my time in Theta, I think about the incredible women who have made UConn feel like home. One of my favorite things is knowing that no matter where I go on campus, I’ll always see a familiar face. Whether it’s walking to class, grabbing coffee, or studying in the library, there’s always someone to smile at or stop and talk to. Theta has also introduced me to so many amazing people who have become some of my closest friends, and I truly can’t imagine my college experience without them.

Serving as Vice President of Membership has been one of the most rewarding parts of my college experience. Having the opportunity to help others find the same sense of belonging and sisterhood that changed my own life has made me appreciate Theta even more. Recruitment is about so much more than welcoming new members, it’s about helping women find a place where they feel supported, valued, and at home.

Theta has given me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and opportunities that I’ll always be grateful for. Every woman in this chapter has played a role in shaping my college experience, and I can’t wait to welcome the next generation of sisters into the place that will always feel like home. TLAM!”
