“This isn't a field that you can lightly jump into and be wishy-washy. To be successful in this field you have to love it and want it every single day.”⠀
Riley Clinton, is a director, cinematographer, editor based out of Denver, Colorado.⠀
Clinton started dipping his toes into the creative world in 7th grade when one of his friends, Jacob, got a GoPro for his birthday. Learning through trial and error, the Colorado native quickly began crafting his skills.⠀
His first big break came during his time at CU Boulder. He landed a role shooting and editing content for the cubuffsfootball team. In the Fall of 2016 under the leadership of John Snelson, Clinton helped capture content for the the “The Rise” a nationally televised TV show on Pac-12 Network that documented CU's 2016 football season. After finishing college as a student within three years, Clinton accepted a full-time position working for the Buffs to round out his time at the University.⠀
Clinton resigned after his fourth year, and joined the ColoradoRapids' digital team where he worked on the long-form documentary, 'Just the Beginning' which highlighted legendary USMNT goalkeeper - TimHow1's final year before retirement. In 2020, the documentary won an Emmy for Best Sports Post-Produced program.⠀
Currently, Clinton still works part-time for the NFL while building BoulderMediaHouse, a production company he and three fellow University of Colorado students founded.⠀
