1) Laurier’s research partnership with the Government of the Northwest Territories informs local climate change monitoring and better prepares the territory and its communities for climate-related disasters.
 
2) More than 1,500 solar panels have been installed on Laurier’s Waterloo and Brantford campuses, generating enough clean electricity each month to power approximately 820 laptops.

3) The Laurier Centre for Sustainable Food Systems brings together citizens, policymakers, industry and academics to foster healthy, inclusive and ecologically regenerative food systems.

4) Laurier is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 40% based on 2009 levels by 2030.

5) Laurier’s Northdale Community Garden offers plots for students, staff and faculty to grow their own produce. The Laurier Sustainability Office has also planted more than 20 native pollinator species to support biodiversity."
