Ottawa’s next Afro wave⁉️🤔🇨🇦🇳🇬

Ottawa might have its next Afro breakout artist, and most of the city hasn’t caught on yet.

Nigerian-American artist from Ottawa HumbleK__, just released his debut single “Waju,” and it’s bringing a completely different sound than what we’re used to hearing.

One of the best things about Ottawa is how diverse the city is. The music video captures that perfectly. People from all kinds of backgrounds are vibing together, even if they aren’t Nigerian or don’t understand every lyric. 

That’s the beauty of music. It connects people beyond language, culture, and where they’re from.

In a time where so much of the music scene is dominated by drill, rap, and similar sounds, it’s refreshing to hear something different. 

Ottawa continues to be a place where different cultures inspire one another, and artists aren’t afraid to bring their roots into their music.
