Las Vegas Filmmaker Joe Lujan Prepares to Drop 5th Installment in Sci-Fi Franchise

Joe Lujan is not just a filmmaker; he is an architect of entire cinematic worlds. He has successfully created two interconnected sci-fi and horror universes: “The Darc World,” which expands upon his horror mythology, and the “Ravage Reign Universe,” anchored by the expansive The Immortal Wars franchise. Lujan’s vision for these universes extends beyond the silver screen, encompassing feature films, web series, episodic content, and comic lines. 

Lujan’s latest contribution to his sprawling universe is The Immortal Wars: Netherworld. Serving as the fifth installment in the franchise, this film marks a significant tonal shift as the first horror entry in the series. For Netherworld, Lujan demonstrates his multifaceted talent by serving as the director, writer, editor, executive producer, and cinematographer. 

Known for blending high-energy sci-fi action with stylish horror, Lujan built his career from the ground up, starting with DIY, no-budget productions. His hands-on approach to world-building and bold visual style have earned him significant industry recognition. He has been honored at ShockFest with awards for Best Director (for Billy) and Best Cinematographer (for My Little Nightmare and The Bosk). Furthermore, he received the prestigious Shock Fest Shocker Award, recognizing his lasting impact on the independent horror genre. 

Through his production company, Carcass Studios, Lujan continues to push the boundaries of independent filmmaking. Driven by a passion for original storytelling, he remains dedicated to expanding his cinematic universes with new characters and terrifying experiences, ensuring that the “Ravage Reign Universe” continues to grow into new territory.
