❗️Horacio Pagani’s Ferrari 275 GTB/4 story is the kind of collector-car tale that actually feels personal.

Long before he built Zondas and Huayras, Pagani reportedly fell in love with the 275 GTB after seeing one on the cover of Automundo magazine as a kid in Argentina.

Years later, he bought chassis 09021, the first production Ferrari 275 GTB/4 and the car displayed at the 1966 Paris Salon de l’Automobile.

The car is finished in Rosso Rubino over Beige and sold through RM Sotheby’s Paris 2022 auction for €2,367,500.

What makes it even cooler is that Pagani didn’t just want a clean restoration, he wanted the exact feeling of the original car brought back.

The restoration reportedly involved Ferrari Classiche research, Kessel in Lugano, and even a hunt for the correct Rosso Rubino paint tone using an old 1960s paint tin.
