Huge congratulations to our inaugural St. Francis MATE Explorer robotics team!

We finished #5! Top 5 in the world, 5 years in a row. And in our first year in the Explorer college level. If you see our robotics students - give them a congrats!

If there are two words that define this year’s team, they are courage and confidence.

It took courage to move into the Explorer class, the highest level of the MATE ROV competition. It took confidence to compete against universities from around the world. And it took both to work through technical challenges, deploy a robot into the ocean, and represent St. Francis with the professionalism and composure this team is known for.
