"Working in sports can really take a toll. The most important thing is to take care of yourself. Your mental health and your physical health are not something to overlook. It's so easy to get lost in comparing ourselves to others, spending way too much time on our screens. My biggest advice is to find boundaries and set aside time for yourself, because if you are not pouring into yourself, you can't pour into your work the way you want to.”

carlymgough is a videographer and editor based out of Clemson, South Carolina. Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, Gough grew up with photography as a hobby. Not knowing if she could make it into a full time career, she decided to pivot into a career in broadcast.⠀

During her time as a student at the University of Oregon, Gough had numerous freelance opportunities with the Pac-12 Network, NBC Sports and ESPN which helped her land an internship with the University of Oregon Athletic Department.⠀
Following graduation, Gough packed up and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana for an internship with the Indianapolis Colts. Her talents quickly led her to transitioning into a full time role within the organization.⠀

Eager for a change of pace, Gough wanted to step into the realm of creative social media content. So, she reached out to the Clemson Athletics Department and landed a job as a Graduate Assistant. About a year into the GA position, Gough moved into a full time role which is how she got to where she is today.⠀

Currently, Gough is the Associate Director of Creative Solutions for Clemson Athletics. Her department as a whole is responsible for meeting the video, photo and graphic needs for all of Clemson's sports teams. However, her role specifically focuses on  short-form social content and long-form features on the ACC Network.⠀
