Golden State controlled Monday night’s road matchup from the opening tip, riding a dominant third quarter and a decisive advantage off the bench to secure the win.

Golden State’s balanced attack: Six different players scored between 6 and 14 points. Kaitlyn Chen led all scorers with 14 points on an efficient 6 of 9 shooting (66.7%), adding four assists against just one turnover. Tiffany Hayes contributed 9 points on 4 of 7 shooting, and Kiah Stokes rounded out a strong two-way effort with 6 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

The bench proved to be the deciding factor, outscoring Washington’s reserves 39 to 13. Golden State’s defense was equally disruptive, forcing 17 Washington turnovers while committing just six of its own, a takeaway advantage that translated directly into 14 points off turnovers compared to Washington’s 6.
