Summer’s been asking me for weeks if she could finally give her review of “Human Body Theater” by mariswicks. Although it’s written for readers ages 10–14, at six years old, she said she was ready to read it. She’s already read it three times. 😂

The question I know I’ll be asked is: How did she get here? We know every  child is born with their own unique gifts. Language is one of hers. Our job as parents is to nurture those gifts, encourage curiosity, and build a home where books are a part of everyday life for both of our children.

Our shelves are full of books we’ve collected over the years—books we’ve read during pregnancy, books we’ve read hundreds of times before bed, books that have sparked conversations, expanded vocabulary, answered big questions, encouraged imagination, and helped foster a true love for learning.

For years, one of the questions I’ve been asked most often has been, “What books do you read with your kids?” After hearing that question over and over again, I finally sat down and cataloged our home library to share with you.

It includes more than 300 books from our home library that we’ve personally read and loved, organized by age, complete with direct shopping links, reading trackers, and my personal favorite titles highlighted throughout.

Whether you’re building your baby’s first library, encouraging an independent reader, or planning your next library haul, I hope this catalog helps your family discover books your kids will love for years to come. Because this has never just been about books. It’s about raising thinking people who love to learn.
