For 3 years, I have been answering the question “so what exactly is Phoenix?” with a longer answer than anyone asked for.

Because the honest answer was complicated. Some weeks we were consultants. Some weekends we were an academy. Most of the time we were both, before sunrise and after office hours, held together by a calendar that made no sense to anyone but me.
That season ends today.

The video says the rest — watch it. What it doesn’t say is what happens next: two entities, two focused teams, and for the first time, separate rooms for the two conversations I care about most.
