Those words stuck out to me when I met with @diegohuertaphoto in April. In this case, a Charro riding through Monument Valley for the first time ever. I was hooked.

No photographs or video exists of this ever happening, until now.

So, to be the first in doing so and documenting it was definitely something special. The next question was, who will play the Charro?

As destiny would have it, @aarondiaz a highly-talented and avid horseman came on board. But it wasn’t until @yulizaa_sanchez from @escaramuza_colibries_de_nevada came on board that we knew we had something special. Because there is nobody more Charro than the Charra. A story that would unfold and pan out just as it should have.

This story wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for @_julesh3 welcoming us in and believing in the story. Forever indebted to you and the Navajo Nation.
