In our Joffrey Concert Group joffreyconcertgroup, dancers and choreographers come together in the studio to develop original works that challenge artistic perspectives and contribute to the continued evolution of contemporary dance and contemporary ballet.⁠

As the resident company of Joffrey Ballet School, Joffrey Concert Group provides pre-professional artists with meaningful performance opportunities while fostering an environment where emerging choreographic voices can thrive. Through the Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative (CMCI), two New York City and Tri-State Area choreographers will be selected to create world premiere works during a four-week creative residency, working closely with the company to bring their artistic vision to life.⁠

Applications for CMCI 2027 are open through July 17, 2026. We look forward to welcoming the next generation of choreographers as they create new work that will premiere during Joffrey Concert Group's In My Art performance in February 2027.⁠
