Spartans, join us in welcoming Coach Irby White to lead our Varsity Boys Soccer program!

Coach White grew up playing soccer with the Richmond Strikers from 2004-2014 and has been coaching soccer around the Richmond area since graduating from Deep Run High School in 2014. 

Coach White started coaching while attending Reynolds Community College and VCU, and has experience with the Richmond Strikers (2014-2017), Deep Run High School (2020-2023), The Steward School (2016-2023) and Godwin High School (2017-2019, 2024-current). 
His high school teams have combined for 6 VHSL Region 5C titles, and 1 VHSL State Championship since 2017. 

Coach White just finished his 3rd season as the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Godwin High School. He led the team back to the VHSL State Tournament for a third straight season after the team had not been there since 2019, where they were eventually crowned State Champions with Coach White serving as an assistant on the staff. 

Since last at Steward, Coach White also spent time as an assistant for the Randolph Macon College men’s program, helping them back to the ODAC playoffs in 2024 and 2025.
