In the early 1990s, Nike’s global soccer business was still relatively small, generating around $20 million worldwide. But within roughly a decade, that business grew into a $3 billion-per-year powerhouse. Joe was there during that transformational period, joining Nike corporate in 1993 as a sports marketing leader for soccer and helping shape the company’s rise in the global game.
