One of the things I love to do as a relationship therapist is look for green flags in the world around us. 

We spend so much time talking about red flags that we sometimes miss the opportunity to notice healthy relationship behaviors in action (and learn from them)

taylorswift and killatrav wedding caught my attention for that reason.

From everything that's been reported, I noticed several green flags that while (at least many) are privileges of celebrity, they are a great example of the power of  intentionality.

They chose a place that already held deep meaning and transformed it into a wedding that reflected their story. 

Most of us aren't renting out Madison Square Garden and creating an enchanted garden inside it of course, but the lesson isn't about the budget. 

It's about creating a celebration that reflects your relationship instead of someone else's expectations.

They reportedly asked guests to put their phones away so everyone could be fully present. 

In a world where so many meaningful moments are experienced through a screen, protecting time to simply be together feels like a gift.

They also reportedly had their brothers stand beside them.

Strong relationships are supported by the people who know you best and have been part of your life long before your wedding day.

Finally, they reportedly wrote their own vows.

I always encourage couples to do that because it helps you think intentionally about the marriage you're building from the very beginning.

Of course, none of us knows what happens behind closed doors, and no wedding can predict the future.

These are simply observations based on what's been shared publicly. 

Whether we're talking about celebrities or our own relationships, I think it's worth paying attention to the choices that reflect authenticity, shared values, and genuine connection.
