- I have said before that in order to fund myself, my girlfriend and her Afrofusion music career, my fledgling digital magazine Bentley Girls, St Clair Racing and NBM. the music management and promotion business that I co-own with my girlfriend I work a full time salaried job with a company local to where I live in Oxfordshire, England.

I work a pattern of four 12 hour shifts on, then four days off - or 4 on/4 off as we call it - which suits my entrepreneurial activities very well.

Tonight is the evening of day 3 of a on and tomorrow evening begins a new 4 off.

Working from 7am to 7pm means I don't much care for eating or cooking when I get home but tonight the reduced shelves at Waitrose tempted me with Meditteranean vegetables reduced from £2.35 (US$3.06) to £1.95 (US$2.54) - Not a brilliant bargain but still better than paying full price.

And Serrano Ham and Manchego Cheese Potato Croquettes reduced from £5.00 (US$6.50) to £1.80 (US$2.34).

Total retail cost - £7.35 (US$9.56)
Reduced price cost - £3.75 (US$4.89)

High taste.

Low cost.

That's the Bentley Girls way.
