Beginning in 2028, NWSL's Gotham FC and MLS' New York City FC will share a home at Etihad Park in Queens. 🔥⁣
⁣
Etihad Park is scheduled to open in spring 2027. The 25,000-seat stadium is being built for New York City FC, which joined MLS in 2015, and will soon welcome Gotham FC as a second home team. 💪⁣
⁣
Gotham will have its own dedicated locker room, and on matchdays the club will be able to "flip" the stadium's branding, making the venue feel uniquely its own thanks to mostly digital signage throughout. 🤩⁣

"World-class athletes deserve world-class environments, and this move allows us to keep raising the standard for our players, supporters and the game itself," Gotham FC controlling owner Carolyn Tisch Blodgett said in a statement. 👏⁣
⁣
Gotham has played at Sports Illustrated Stadium (formerly Red Bull Arena) in Harrison, New Jersey, since 2021 as a secondary tenant to the New York Red Bulls. Beginning in 2028, the club will officially make the move to Queens. 👀⁣
