Ndola District netball teams exhibited exceptional talent at the Copperbelt Inter-District Sports Gala 2025 in Luanshya, emerging as the Netball Overall Champions. Both the Under 13 and Under 17 squads faced stiff competition in a challenging group that included Chililabombwe, Kitwe, Lufwanyama, and Chingola. The Under 13 team was particularly outstanding, winning all their matches, including a decisive victory over Kitwe in the finals to successfully defend their championship for the second consecutive time.

The Under 17 girls also showed remarkable resilience, securing a commendable second place after a hard-fought final against Chililabombwe, which they narrowly lost. Their combined efforts, alongside the U13s' dominant run, led ZASSA Copperbelt to officially recognize Ndola as the overall champions, awarding them a well-deserved trophy. This triumph highlights the effectiveness of Sport In Action (SIA) activities within local communities, which continue to nurture athletic talent.

The victorious teams comprised players primarily from the Mapalo and Kawama hubsites, showcasing the impact of community-level sports development. Coaches Mr. Kalonje from Mapalo and Mr. Njobvu from Kawama hubsite were instrumental in guiding the teams to this success.
