One year ago today, I made my first photography post on this page. 🎉🥺

I will admit, at that time, I had no idea what I was doing. I showed up to a baseball game with a camera I bought a month before and a rental lens acting like I was the sh*t.

I could have never imagined where that decision would lead.

Over the last year, photography has become so much more than just a hobby. It has introduced me to incredible people, taken me to places I never expected to be, and given me opportunities that genuinely changed my life. From portraits and senior sessions to baseball games, tournaments, weddings, and everything in between, every single opportunity started because someone trusted me enough to give me a chance.

So today, I just want to say thank you.

Thank you to every athlete, family, senior, couple, coach, parent, and organization that booked a session or hired me for an event.

Thank you to everyone who shared a post, left a comment, recommended my name to a friend, or simply double-tapped a photo. These small acts mean so much more than you know.

Thank you to my friends and family who encouraged me from day one, listened to me talk endlessly about cameras and lenses, and sported these crazy creative ideas I’d come up with for every session or game.

When I look back on this year, I won’t just remember the photos. I’ll remember the people. The conversations between innings and quarters, the excitement after a session, the long days at the ballpark, the road trips, the lessons learned, the nights at 3am editing trying to see if .3 or .4 exposure was better, the friendships made, the moments the only happened because I picked up a camera and someone gave me a chance.

Senior year would not have been the same without photography.

So to everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you. You helped turn a rented lens into a dream and something far bigger than I ever imagined.

Here’s to Year 2. 📸🫶

Bryan.
