UC students pursuing English (69%), Visual & Performing Arts (68%), Communication & Journalism (67%), Business & Marketing (64%), Computer & Information Sciences (63%), Social Sciences (62%), and Engineering (41%) are choosing programs that research shows travel well across industries and roles.

The University of Cincinnati's top 10 most popular majors, per U.S. News & World Report (2025), are Business & Marketing, Health Professions, Engineering, Computer & Information Sciences, Biological & Biomedical Sciences, Visual & Performing Arts, Communication & Journalism, Psychology, Social Sciences, and Interdisciplinary Sciences.
