Splashing through summer like a grizzly bear! 🐻 🌊

The expansive grizzly bear den at the Detroit Zoo is made complete each year when the waterfall starts flowing. 

Boo and Thor are right at home in this deep pool. Their strong, buoyant bodies allow them to "bear paddle" at speeds of 6 miles per hour, and in the wild, grizzlies are known to travel long distances in search of food. 

Come to the Detroit Zoo this season for your chance to see these boys splash, swim and play.
