If you’re wearing a single pair of gloves, 
4 mil gloves work well and still allow you to feel the tissues comfortably.

However, if you’re performing intraoral buccal massage with two pairs of gloves, I recommend using 2 mil gloves. 
Because you’re wearing two layers, the overall thickness is similar to a single pair of 4 mil gloves, allowing you to maintain excellent tactile sensitivity while following proper hygiene protocols.

I use grapeseed oil for all of my facial treatments for three reasons:

• It is non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types.

• It has a very mild, neutral scent.

• It has virtually no taste, making it ideal for intraoral work.

I always use oil during buccal massage because I want to protect the client’s oral mucosa. Adequate lubrication minimizes friction, allowing the fingers to glide smoothly over the tissues. Excessive friction can irritate the delicate mucous membrane and may lead to discomfort or small superficial abrasions.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest details that make the biggest difference in both client comfort and treatment quality 🤍✨
