We turned a boring corner of our backyard into a magical DIY mud village for our kids! ✨

This started as a simple mud kitchen idea and quickly became a full fairytale-inspired outdoor play zone with running water, a tiny bridge, a baby swing, fairy houses, a little mud river, a pulley bucket, garden paths, and lots of messy creative play. Since our kids are turning 1 and 7, we wanted to make a space where they could imagine, invent, get dirty, and make magical childhood memories right in our own yard.

In this episode, we build the mud kitchen out of redwood, add a working auto-close faucet, create a whimsical pathway, tuck in fairy details, and transform this forgotten little area into one of the most magical corners of our dream home fixer upper.
