Meet our Teacher of the Game: Synthia Walker! 🍎

Synthia teaches 6th and 8th grade at Martin Luther King Jr. Junior High School and is known for going the extra mile for her students. From helping them stay organized and manage their time to building confidence and a growth mindset, she focuses on skills that set students up for success in and beyond the classroom.

Outside of school, Synthia founded an educational nonprofit that supports students and families through college prep, financial literacy, and mentoring programs. A 2024 Classified Employee of the Year and proud 49ers Faithful, she brings heart, leadership, and community to everything she does.
