We are excited to announce the return of our #49ersPREP Charlie Wedemeyer Memorial Coach of the Week and our Player of the Week spotlights pres. by @usbank. Every week we will highlight two outstanding tackle and flag players and two tackle and flag coaches. 🏈

Congratulations to Ava Allen of @menlo_school for being our #49ersPREP Flag Player of the Week and to Brayden Turner of @montevistafootball for being our Player of the Week.

Ava Allen played on both sides of the ball, scoring in three different ways. She ran in a touchdown, threw for a touchdown, and returned an interception for a touchdown. Fresno State commit, Brayden Turner, also had a stellar performance, throwing for 300 yards and scoring 4 touchdowns. 💥

We would also like to congratulate Bryan Smith of @balersports for being our Charlie Wedemeyer Memorial Coach of the Week and Matt Labbie of @smhs_girlsflagfootball for being our Flag Coach of the Week.

Both coaches started the season with a Win! Bryan Smith coached his team back from a 21 point defecit, scoring 27 unanswered points. Matt Libbie lead his team to a blowout victory, scoring 36 points.  🏆
