Elora Quarry in Ontario is a unique summer destination in Elora Ontario.  This limestone quarry encircled by cliffs offers guests swimming, hiking and picnicking surrounded by nature.

Here are some tips to prepare for your visit:

1️⃣ GET YOUR PARKING PERMIT ADVANCE ONLINE: To manage crowds, parking permits are required and can be found the Grand River website.

2️⃣ GO ON A WEEKDAY: If you want a less crowded experience. Or the Sunday afternoon time slot.

3️⃣ DON’T FORGET TO PACK: Bathing suit, towel, eco-friendly sunscreen, sunglasses, water tube, snacks, hiking shoes and activewear (there are trails around the Quarry). 

4️⃣ EXTEND YOUR STAY AND VISIT THE TOWN: There are so many great restaurants, shops, and other activities in the town of Elora. For example, canoeing the Grand River, the Elora Mill spa, and so much more!
