Congratulations to Thunder Lacrosse 2027 standout Cooper Rice on his decision to attend Ohio State University after originally committing to Mercer University!
Cooper put together an outstanding spring season at Ensworth High School and has continued to dominate the club circuit all summer. His production on the offensive end, high lacrosse IQ, and ability to take over games have earned him well-deserved recognition from college coaches across the country. Simply put, Cooper has been one of the hottest offensive players on the field this year.
The Buckeyes are getting a dynamic playmaker, fierce competitor, and exceptional young man. We couldn’t be more excited to watch Cooper continue his academic and athletic career in Columbus.
