Want to experience the best of Tobermory without spending hundreds on accommodation? Here’s the itinerary l’d recommend:

⛺️Stay at Bruce Peninsula National Park Campground
• Non-electrical campsites start at around $50/night for the entire campsite (up to 6 people can share), making it one of the most affordable ways to visit.
• Looking for more comfort? The campground also offers electrical campsites, TENTiks, and yurts.

🛥️Book a Flowerpot Island boat tour
Choose a tour that includes the glass-bottom boat experience to see the famous shipwrecks before exploring Flowerpot Island

❤️The best part?
With a valid camping permit (from 2:00 PM check-in until 11:00 AM check-out), you can access the Cyprus Lake hiking trails, including:
Indian Head Cove
Cyprus Lake Trails

No separate day-use reservation is needed for these trails while you’re camping. Just remember you’ll hike from your campsite, as camping permits don’t include parking at the Cyprus Lake day-use lot (P1).

🏖️Before check-in, you can also visit the Parks Canada Visitor Centre or Singing Sands Beach at no extra charge (subject to parking availability). Simply show your camping reservation to receive a temporary parking permit.

🚣If you’re bringing your own kayak or canoe, Cyprus Lake is a beautiful place to paddle thanks to its calm waters and easy access from the campground. (There are currently no kayak or canoe rentals available within the national park.)
