Damian Priest has arrived in AAA.

The former World Heavyweight Champion made his debut on the July 4 episode of AAA on Fox, revealed by new General Manager Rey Mysterio as the former WWE World Champion the promotion had teased for weeks. Speaking in Spanish, Priest said he did not come to make appearances, he came to dominate, warning rudos and tecnicos alike and putting AAA's champions on notice by declaring that everyone is his target.

Priest remains an active WWE star and currently holds the WWE Tag Team Championship with R-Truth on SmackDown. AAA's singles champions include Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio, Latin American Champion El Hijo del Vikingo, and Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix.

Mysterio also teased another arrival, saying AAA is working on bringing Bad Bunny to the promotion. Priest and Bad Bunny teamed at WrestleMania 37 and faced off in a San Juan Street Fight at Backlash 2023.
