Trevor Lee is the first MLW Southern Crown Champion.

Lee won a 10-man Bunkhouse Stampede on the July 4 edition of MLW Fusion at Center Stage in Atlanta, pinning Andrew Everett with the Cave-In. The field also included Diego Hill, Festus, Ikuro Kwon, Jesus Rodriguez, Josh Bishop, Matthew Justice, actor Paul Walter Hauser, and The Beastman. It is Lee's first championship in MLW.

The show also reshaped the tag team division. After MLW announced Bishop Dyer had been locked out amid a contract dispute, Donovan Dijak had until the end of the night to name a new partner or vacate the World Tag Team Championship. After Karl Anderson beat Dijak in the main event, Josh Bishop attacked Anderson and was revealed as the newest Skyscraper, keeping the titles with Dijak.

Teddy Long returned to Center Stage, where his career began, and introduced debuting prospect LaBron Kozone, who defeated Alan Angels. Contra Unit hijacked the broadcast, and Anderson, Doc Gallows, Shotzi Blackheart, and Krule united as the Contra Mercs to oppose them.
