Some teachers have been with us since the very first event. Elizabeth Ross and Lauren Morgan are two of them. 💙
 
Elizabeth is now a counselor for Alief ISD. Lauren teaches in Houston ISD. And every time they walk into a Houston Loves Teachers event, they tell us the same thing: they feel appreciated, valued, and seen.
 
That feeling is the whole point.
 
Elizabeth and Lauren talked about the advocacy, the inclusion, and the chance to connect with teachers from across the city. They pointed to Stefanie for building a space where teachers feel important and safe to just be themselves.
 
Teaching in Houston asks a lot of you. You deserve a place that gives something back.
