A 7.8 magnitude earthquake reverberated across 10 provinces in the south of Türkiye (formerly known as Turkey) and devastated large parts of Syria, with reports of more than 2,000 people killed and thousands children and families forced from their homes into the freezing cold.  Save the Children’s emergency response team is preparing to meet the most urgent needs of children and families living in the areas hardest hit by the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, and, planning to support affected communities with winterization and emergency kits, including blankets and winter clothing. ——————————————————————
