Boston’s World Cup party kept rolling all weekend.

Just one day after Scotland defeated Haiti in its first World Cup match in nearly three decades, thousands of Scottish supporters headed to Fenway Park for a special “Scotland Day” celebration hosted by the Red Sox.

Fans marched to the ballpark behind a group of bagpipers, while Fenway embraced the occasion with Scotland-themed shirts, kilt-wearing mascots, and plenty of tributes to Scottish midfielder John McGinn, who scored the winning goal against Haiti.

Scotland’s supporters, known as the Tartan Army, have become one of the biggest stories of Boston’s World Cup so far, filling bars, trains, streets, and now one of the city’s most iconic sports venues.

And with Scotland set to play again at Gillette Stadium on Friday, the celebrations are far from over.
