There are sports bars, and then there are sports bars with a direct view into Fenway Park.

Bleacher Bar on Lansdowne Street was just named the No. 2 Best Local Sports Bar in the U.S. by USA Today’s Reader Choice Awards.

The spot opened in 2008 in a space previously used as the Red Sox batting cage and field storage area. Today, it is best known for its center field view into Fenway, plus a setup that feels like a love letter to Red Sox history.

Even on non-game days, that window alone is enough to make it one of the more unique spots in Boston.
