Heads up folks, winter isn’t done with us yet.

Forecasters are warning that this weekend’s major winter storm that’s slamming nearly 2/3 of the US will arrive in Massachusetts starting Sunday.

And with it, bringing 1–2 feet of snow.

This has the potential to become the biggest snowfall Boston has seen in nearly four years. Snow is expected to begin around midday Sunday and continue through late Monday, lining up with a rough travel window.

Utility crews are already on standby, flights are being canceled, and officials are urging people to prepare for power outages and dangerously cold temperatures. Even outside the hardest-hit areas, conditions could turn messy fast.

If you’re in Boston or anywhere across New England, this is one to take seriously. Plan ahead, avoid unnecessary travel, and keep an eye on updates as forecasts tighten.

By the way, we send one weekly email with what’s actually worth doing in and knowing about Boston. No fluff. Link in bio.
