Boston is getting a brilliant meteor show this weekend.

The Geminids peak Saturday night, and New England’s crisp winter sky means you could catch 40 to 50 meteors an hour outside the city glow.

Head to Castle Island, Spectacle Island views, Blue Hills, or Revere Beach for your best shot.

Peak begins around 10 pm. Bring hot chocolate and someone who won’t mind the cold.
