Grief is exhausting.

Not just because we miss them.

Because we spend so much energy wishing reality were different.

I know I did.

But the moment I stopped treating grief like an enemy…

I found something unexpected.

Space.

Not happiness.

Not peace.

Just enough space to notice that love was still here.

In memories.

In people.

In who I was becoming.

Sometimes healing begins when we stop resisting what love is trying to become.
