Mink starts the song, Zuko has a verse in the middle, and then Fimi closes it with one of his darkest verses ever… 

For context, Fimiguerrero is mostly known for more upbeat and braggadocios lines about girls, money, and glorifying drugs. But there’s another side to that lifestyle that he shows on this song, which is a rare act of vulnerability from Fimi.

He comes in coughing, then opens with a line that measures every cough as bringing him closer to death. But knowing that his mom is financially taken care of now, Fimi doesn’t seem to care all that much. In fact, he even makes a celebratory toast to never being sober, until he’s gone.

Fimi goes so far to display his own acts of self-destruction that he challenges the listener if we’ve ever taken it as far as him putting himself in a coma. Thankfully, no. But that’s not enough for Fimi. After revealing he put himself in a near death situation, he goes even further and asks if it’s weird that he likes it. He admits his desire to be in that state, saying he feels alive when he’s barely surviving.

The song is a chilling reflection of Fimiguerrero’s actual struggles and his constant need to escape, no matter how close he gets to being gone forever. His relationship with drugs is like a toxic ex, one that hits you in a way that feels like a kiss. Even with all the self-awareness he shows on this song, he still celebrates himself by the end of it, saying “My life’s a movie, I got highlights on my YouTube.”
