Meet Josie. 💛

At 9 years old, Josie loves drawing, cats, and expressing her creativity. In March 2023, her life changed when she was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare bone cancer.

Treatment wasn’t easy. Between countless IVs, long chemotherapy appointments, and medications that made her incredibly sick, every day brought new challenges. But with the help of her care team, Josie found solutions that made treatment more manageable. A G-tube allows her to receive chemotherapy at home without tasting the medicine, and her port has replaced frequent IVs—making each appointment just a little bit easier.

Today, Josie is facing another difficult hurdle. Recent scans revealed tumors on her spine that are pressing on a nerve, leaving her unable to use her legs. She is continuing chemotherapy with hope that the tumors will shrink and she’ll regain her strength.

Despite everything she’s endured, Josie wants to help other children facing the same diagnosis. She hopes that by sharing her story, more people will support research for Ewing sarcoma and all childhood cancers.

Kids like Josie deserve better treatments, more options, and cures. #SarcomaAwarenessMonth
