🏝️ Welcome to Okinawa, Japan. While most visitors head to Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka, Okinawa feels like a completely different side of Japan. Think crystal-clear turquoise water, tropical islands, colorful coral reefs, white-sand beaches, breathtaking sunsets, and a unique blend of Japanese and Ryukyuan culture. #sponsored 

😭 Sadly, many travelers skip Okinawa because it’s so far south of mainland Japan, but we can honestly say it’s one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever visited.

✈️ How to get there:

We started this bucket list trip by flying into Naha, Okinawa, then rented a car to explore the island at our own pace.

Tucked right along the coast, this hotel was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Okinawa. Waking up to incredible ocean views, falling asleep to the sound of the waves, and watching the sunset just steps from our room made this stay one of the highlights of our bucket list trip to Japan.
