been a fan of mxpx for a large part of my life. at some point in middle school i found "Life in General" and it became a daily listen on the bus. 

after that, it was pretty much just teenage politics and punk rawn shows. I was never a chick magnet but i took responsibility in my mistakes when the grey skies turned blue. gotta say, i heard that sound and went and wrecked some hotel rooms.

then i got a 'real job', and it all just kinda faded away. got laid off around dec 24, it's been a year and a half of hell. i've been re-finding myself, building all the skills i had then and applying them to now, making stupid videos and music while trying to get back to my 'career'. 

i take any victory or smile i can, and man, when you guys started doing live shows i got so excited.

so when you just asked if anyone's birthday was happening, and i just throw out in chat mine happened a few weeks ago, i didn't really expect any kind of response.

you guys made my night. hearing those old songs, then hearing a literal shout out from an original band who made me... me? it at least gave me a good kick of motivation and energy. and a huge smile on my face.
