You're watching the US Speedgolf Open, where I am 2 x champion back in 2019 & 2021.  We're playing Horton Smith Golf Course in Springfield Missouri, which is the same site of last years US Open where I was able to win and set a 36 hole competitive scoring record of 221 and also where the Director himself Scott Dawley set a new world record of 107 with a 65 in 42 minutes.

However this years course is much different than last years. Last year the course was soft and wet, which made it much more conducive for scoring.  This year the course is firm and fast and with the tiny greens at Horton Smith it made things much more difficult.  The greens were at a level that I've never experienced before, and it required that you be very careful on and around the greens because both chips and putts could get away from you quickly. 

This Back 9 was a bit of a struggle for me, you're going to see me scrambling and hitting a lot of chip shots trying to get up and down to save par, given the number of greens that I hit in regulation I'm not going to be to upset with my score of 36 in 19 minutes.  Enjoy!

For those who are unaware of what Speedgolf is?
A fun, quicker, and more physically active version of regular golf is called Speedgolf. In Speedgolf, each minute of play is worth one stroke, and each stroke has a score value. The objective is to produce the least amount of minutes and strokes possible. People of various ages, golfing abilities, and fitness levels love playing speedgolf.
