A night to remember at the trials in Montreal. Benoît Huot was inducted into Swimming Canada’s Circle of Excellence, the perfect cap to a career that reshaped Para swimming in this country.🏅🇨🇦
 
And the racing didn’t slow down from there, night 4 brought some huge swims:
• Reid Maxwell sets a Canadian record in the men’s 50m free multiclass (27.78)
• Shelby Newkirk sets a Canadian record in the women’s 100m breast multiclass (1:57.71)
• Fernando Lu wins the 50m free multiclass (24.44), his 2nd victory of the week
• Aurélie Rivard wins the women’s 50m freestyle
• Tess Routliffe wins the women’s 100m breast
• Nicholas Bennett wins the men’s 100m breast
