What would your childhood look like on the runway? Robert Wun’s Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture show, “Childsplay”, reimagined couture through a lens of innocence, one that only comes with youth. Acting as a mirror, the collection reflected the designer’s introspection on himself and the brand’s haute couture journey over the past three years. The collection unfolded like a coming-of-age timeline: beginning with the purity of blank-paper simplicity and evolving into bursts of vibrant hues, playful forms, and toy-like characters. Custom balloons and vivid colour explosions captured the fleeting yet joyous essence of imagination, offering a poignant contrast to couture’s usual formality. Through his artistry, Wun sought to reconnect us with a hopeful, inspired past. After all, isn’t life just childsplay?
