A senior man was rescued after a house fire broke out in Orléans this afternoon‼️😨🙏🚒

Ottawa Fire Services responded to a two-alarm house fire on Castle Pines Way in the Chapel Hill neighbourhood at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday.

A senior man was rescued from one of the homes and treated at the scene for smoke inhalation before being released. Paramedics also assessed a second person for heat-related issues, with no serious injuries reported.

Photos from the scene show flames causing damage to two homes as firefighters worked to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire has not yet been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
