We know bicycles make for excellent transportation, but what if you’re a high school student and don’t have the time or means to get a bike? 

Thanks to NBA legend Shane Battier, a group of lucky Miami Central High School students were empowered with the gift of getting around town on two wheels.

Through Shane’s Take Charge Foundation and GUIDE Program - along with Giant Bicycles, Mack Cycle, Take Stock in Children Miami, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, and our own University of Miami BikeSafe Program - over 40 brand-new Momentum cruiser bicycles were gifted to these special young scholars to help them get to school, work, and play in a fun and healthy way.

As Shane says – it’s all about the smiles and freedom. #BicyclesChangeLives
